The session provides clear, practical demonstrations of how AI can support every stage of the mediation process, from preparation through to agreement.
You will see how AI can help you digest and structure complex information, prepare timelines and chronologies, and produce well-drafted documents that you can adapt and refine. You will explore how AI can assist with framing opening remarks, identifying common ground, generating questions, analysing interests and supporting constructive negotiation.
Importantly, we also cover responsible and secure use. You will learn how to work within strong confidentiality and GDPR-conscious boundaries, how to check and interpret outputs reliably, and how to ensure AI enhances - rather than replaces - the human role at the heart of mediation.
By the end of the course, you will have a set of simple workflows, prompts and techniques that you can apply immediately in your own practice.
This programme is intended for both new and experienced mediators who wish to modernise and streamline their practice. It is equally relevant to workplace, civil and commercial mediators, ombuds and complaints professionals, and those building or refreshing a dispute resolution portfolio.
